This article explains how to create, assign, and manage exhibitor tasks in the exhibitor portal. Tasks help event managers collect critical materials from exhibitors such as company descriptions, logos, documents, or remind them to register booth staff. Assignments can be filtered by exhibitor type, sponsorship level, or individual exhibitors.
How do I add an exhibitor task?
Add a new task from the exhibitor tasks page
Go to Setup > Exhibitor > Exhibitor tasks
From the Actions dropdown, select Add exhibitor task
The Add exhibitor task page will appear
Complete the task details section
Fields marked with a red bullet point are required:
Title: Enter a short task name
Description: Provide task instructions using the rich text editor
Category: Select a label (e.g., content, contractual)
Due date: Select the task deadline from the calendar
URL: Include a relevant URL if needed
Upload document: Click Browse to attach any relevant file
Assignment role: From the dropdown, choose the role responsible for the task
Apply assignment filters (optional)
Exhibitor type: Assign task to a specific exhibitor type (e.g., exhibitor, sponsor)
Sponsorship packages: Assign by sponsorship package
Ancillary sponsorship: Assign by ancillary sponsorship type
Exhibitors: Select individual exhibitors
4. Click Save
Saving the task queues a task template to be delivered to the assigned exhibitors.
How do I edit an exhibitor task?
On the Exhibitor tasks page, click the Edit icon next to the task
The Edit exhibitor task screen will open
Make your changes and click Save

How do I delete an exhibitor task?
On the Exhibitor tasks page, click the Delete icon next to the task
A confirmation dialog will appear
Click OK to delete the task
Deleted tasks will be removed from the exhibitor portal and any associated task list.
