When you organize an event, you may need two different registration flows for exhibitors: one for their actual exhibitor registration (booth purchase, package selection, company details), and another for internal staff or personnel (booth staff, on‑site helpers) that are managed by the organizers. The page‑builder tools let you design these two flows separately with full flexibility: one for public registration and one for internal exhibitor‑personnel registration.
Public exhibitor registration — using the Registration Page Builder
The Exhibitor Registration Page Builder (part of the MultEvent Admin Portal) is used to create the web pages that exhibitors will see on the public registration site.
In this builder, Admin Users can define every aspect of the registration flow: which pages appear, in what order, what fields or elements are displayed (company info, packages, payment, additional questions), and how the form behaves.
Many values — for example, sponsorship items, package definitions, exhibitor classifications — are defined elsewhere in the Exhibitor Setup menu. The page builder simply changes how those values are presented to the user.
Because the page builder is fully customizable, you can tailor the registration process based on the event’s needs (e.g., simplified booth purchase, multi‑step registration, conditional elements).
For a detailed list of all elements and more advanced configuration options, see the general Page Builder documentation.
Internal exhibitor personnel registration — using the Personnel Page Builder
Sometimes exhibitors need to register personnel (booth staff, support staff) who will not themselves attend the full event but need to be recorded in the system. For this use case:
The Exhibitor Personnel Page Builder allows Admin Users to define a registration workflow used only within the Admin Portal (not public‑facing).
This builder is separate from the public registration builder — it’s designed for internal use by event staff.
Once the personnel page is defined, Admins can add personnel records under a given exhibitor’s profile via the Personnel tab.
These internal registrations are not visible or accessible via the public registration site, ensuring that exhibitor staff data is managed privately and securely.
When to use each builder
Scenario | Use Registration Page Builder | Use Personnel Page Builder |
Exhibitor purchasing a booth or sponsorship package via the public website | ✅ | ❌ |
Exhibitor needs to list or manage internal staff (booth attendants, helpers) without public registration | ❌ | ✅ |
Want to give exhibitors self‑service access to add staff from the public portal | ✅ (with correct setup) | ❌ |
Admin wants full control over staff data, without public exposure | ❌ | ✅ |
By using both the exhibitor registration and personnel page builders, you can set up flexible, clear, and secure workflows for both external exhibitor sign‑ups and internal staff management. This separation helps maintain data integrity, ensures clarity for registrants, and gives event staff full control over exhibitor personnel records.
