Manage Marketing Codes

Updated over a month ago

Marketing codes are used to track the performance of registration campaigns. When registrants access the registration page through online marketing efforts, Launchpad assigns a marketing code to their record. These codes help event managers evaluate the success of campaigns and can be tied to promo codes for automated discounts.

Marketing codes are typically embedded in a registration URL.

Example of a link with a marketing code embedded:

  • Add ?_mc= to the event link

  • Replace XYZ123 with the actual marketing code

To access the Marketing Codes page:

  • Go to Setup

  • Click Registration

  • Select Marketing Codes

From this page, you can:

  • Add a marketing code
